A reusable visual reference that records a process, example, or shared language.

attention cue

A brief, practiced signal that invites learners to pause and notice the next direction.

behavior script

A respectful sentence stem used to name expectations, choices, or repair.

check-in

A short routine that helps a group surface readiness, needs, or observations.

choice menu

A bounded set of meaningful options that lead toward the same learning purpose.

cleanup protocol

A named sequence for returning shared materials and spaces to a ready state.

conference note

A concise record of a conversation, agreed evidence, and next step.

cue

A word, gesture, display, or sound connected to a practiced action.

due-date triage

A process for sorting tasks by deadline, effort, consequence, and available time.

entry routine

The first predictable actions learners take when they arrive.

exit ticket

A brief response collected near the end of learning to reveal current understanding.

focus block

A protected stretch of time with a defined task, support plan, and stopping point.

formative evidence
